All Tax Compliance Software orders are subject to this UltimateTax Refund Policy.
Sole Policy; All Sales Final: As a condition of purchase, all customers acknowledge that this Refund and Return Policy contains the sole remedies for a refund or return. EXCEPT AS STATED HEREIN, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Prohibited Refund Methods/No Chargebacks: Customer expressly agrees to not use any method to circumvent this Refund and Return Policy, including a credit card charge-back. Should Customer attempt to obtain a refund through any financial recovery methods offered by a financial institution, UTS reserves the right to charge Customer a $50 fee.
Software Delivery Timing: Customer acknowledges that the Tax Compliance Software will be delivered to Customer after the software developer finishes development sometime between November and January preceding the filing season. Deliveries are f.o.b. point of shipment. Customer agrees that orders of software through UTS are not contingent on, and Customer has not relied on, the delivery of any future functionality regardless of any communication about future plans. Unavailability of the Tax Compliance Software prior to January 15th or alleged claims of future promises shall not be used as grounds for a refund.
Refund Procedures and Timing: Please give our Support Team at least one full business day to get back to you on your request. Refund requests should contain a detailed reason for why you are applying for a refund. Please, make sure your request does not contradict our Terms and Conditions or this Refund and Return Policy.
Any refund will be issued within one business day after approval of the refund by UTS. Such approval may be contingent upon customer completing any informational form, as requested by UTS in certain situations. Please note that it may take several days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement depending on the policies and procedures of the applicable credit card company and/or bank. Please wait at least 5 business days before contacting UTS to inquire about a delayed refund.
Product Exchange: Please consider that the possibility that an exchange may be able to occur in order to avoid a refund. The possibility of an exchange will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
One Time Use: Except where there is a Special Refund Circumstance, Customers may only request a refund on software once in their account history with UTS.
Electronic filing and other fees: Electronic filing fees, as well as third-party service fees (including refund product fees) are non-refundable and accrue at the time of the filing.
